About Us

Not too much to say (at least not yet)... no long list of credentials... just a story that's worth sharing. I'm Adam Vaughan. My wife, Kelly, will also be sharing. We have 6 children. Our two sons, Lincoln and Tucker, have gone to be with the Lord. The remaining four with us are Emmiline, Eloise, Elliott and Charli. Charli is a triplet. Her brothers Lincoln and Tucker are identical twins. They're dancing with Jesus right now, and they're not sad about it at all!

Hope's reward

In the midst of Monday's thunderstorms...
The dreams of my eldest princess came crashing down...
Lightly asking her how she was...
Shocked by her tear-filled answer...
"Discouraged!"
Her heart had been longing to visit our neighborhood pool.
I entered her pain with understanding...
Speaking improbabilities... encouraging with the truth of future opportunities.
She would not relent.

As the day progressed... she could be found peeking...
Looking to the skies for HOPE...
Attentive to every clearing...
Rejoicing over every cloud that made way for an open heaven.
Dancing and giggling...
Communicating uncharacteristic levels of desire...
This expectant one was alive with longing.

Late afternoon arrived...
Her swim window coming to a close...
Her spirit rallying but downcast...
Ability to grant the deep was within my grasp...
So I did.
Whispering with smiles...
Instructions came...
Attached was a bonus...
An Invitation for a dear friend to join us for our pool play...

This day...
Filled with pools of opportunity...
A chance to make sunshine in the clouds... for one I deeply love...

In the midst of being heart tired from the drowning waters of dissapointment...
A love line was extended...
New life surfaced as she grabbed on...
A "what in the world" kind of moment for her...
One minute thick in the storm...
Adding to the rain with waterings of her own...
The next...
Splashing around in a pool of Hope's reward!

A helpful reminder for all us Hopefuls...
We must never root ourselves in discouragement...
We must NEVE GIVE UP!
Instead... we must always be on the lookout...
For just when we least expect...
His sunshine is sure to peek out.
Watching and hoping.
