About Us

Not too much to say (at least not yet)... no long list of credentials... just a story that's worth sharing. I'm Adam Vaughan. My wife, Kelly, will also be sharing. We have 6 children. Our two sons, Lincoln and Tucker, have gone to be with the Lord. The remaining four with us are Emmiline, Eloise, Elliott and Charli. Charli is a triplet. Her brothers Lincoln and Tucker are identical twins. They're dancing with Jesus right now, and they're not sad about it at all!

The Tree

There is NO shortage of energy or imagination...
In our smalls.

All monkeys are swinging...
Wild- heartedly...
With all their might...
And super powers.
Swinging on the tree...
It's exhilarating!
Adding new dimensions of life...
Stretching them in ways requiring...
Extra hands.
Living...
Really living...
Means swinging on limbs in risky ways.
It means needing the hands of others...
As well as offering our own.

Yesterday...
We had many of those opportunities.
Large and weighty prayer needs multiplied throughout the day.
People we love...
Needing a boost for the climb ahead...
My heart was troubled...
Aching alongside.
Filled with longing to...
Lift His people up to The Tree.

When praying around these parts...
We enlist the entire army...
Bigs and smalls alike.
Sparing no details...
Joining hands we prayed

My heart was touched by princess Eloise...
Our beauty most alive with drama...
Matched with amazing levels of tenderness.

Her words...
Her perspective...
Her picture of Papa...
It marked me.

My view...
My mindset...
Brokenness...
Sadness...
The needs are so big...
So many.

Her view...
The Tree is bigger!

She skips through the house...
Excitedly stating...
"I guess today is a healing day."

I love what her eyes see...
How her heart processes...

Not on the the trial...
But on The Tree...

This is the perspective I desire...
When swinging through life...
Faced with all the aches.
It's just a day...
To see Him work...
To enter in to need...
And wait together

For The Tree to do what He does best...
Bring Life to the FULL!
