About Us

Not too much to say (at least not yet)... no long list of credentials... just a story that's worth sharing. I'm Adam Vaughan. My wife, Kelly, will also be sharing. We have 6 children. Our two sons, Lincoln and Tucker, have gone to be with the Lord. The remaining four with us are Emmiline, Eloise, Elliott and Charli. Charli is a triplet. Her brothers Lincoln and Tucker are identical twins. They're dancing with Jesus right now, and they're not sad about it at all!

soooo wrong...

In my head I am singing lyrics from a famous Jermaine Jackson song..."how can something so right... go so wrong?"  Feel free to sing along... it's catchy...

Pastor and I are just heading back from a less than 24 hour trip to our new homeland...
We were on our way to find Faith's house.
We have had our eye on a particular home since November.  At a far away glance we really believed this was it... so many details made sense...
So many signs pointing towards hope...
It is important for me to be honest... Pastor and I have been FULL of expectation towards this property... We have been alive with desire and wonder.  We have spent many of our last days together dreaming planning and praying.

We were full of delight as we drove towards the yellow beauty flagged with potential...
A hundred year old house... filled with charm and story... I could hardly wait...
Dreaming was about to give birth as we entered... And, it did the moment we walked through the door...
Oh... it did!
Unfortunately... it was more like a Nightmare instead of my daydreams...

Pastor and I were crushed... this was not our House Of Faith... we were certain...

That's what happens when you have such high hopes... you feel disappointed... you really feel it... Sometimes your eyes even leak from the coaster ride...
We sensed God was leading us here... perhaps He was... just not to dwell.

The temptation for most is to stop dreaming all together... only get excited when things come to pass... Don't hope too much... it's too risky...
Realizing today more than ever the importance of continuing on in the fight for Hope...
Hope of all kinds... all forms...
It's a battle... it's one I choose to fight... tears and all...
With Jesus There is an abundance of Hope, and He wants all His children to live out of that truth... even when it means hearing incorrectly.

Pastor faithfully spoke continual reminders to this princess... "We're Hopefuls." We don't give up on hope...  What a warrior he is!  I see his faith muscles bustin' out everywhere like THE HULK.
I married up.

When one door shuts, we wait for the better gate to open up...
Bearing Hopeful's stamp ready for Faith's mark...

It is there... God knows exactly where it is, and I feel certain that He is busy getting it ready even now... He's just like that... always wanting the best for us... always looking to bless.

So... we continue in our theme of walking and WAITING by faith...

And as we do...
I'll enjoy seeing reflections of my joy... in simple pleasures.

In regards to The Future of Faith...
We invite you to partner... pray... and stay tuned...
The unfolding story...

Is sure to be an adventure...

Tearfully expectant... Feeling the cost of ALIVE
Thankful...
And ETERNALLY hopeful.
