About Us

Not too much to say (at least not yet)... no long list of credentials... just a story that's worth sharing. I'm Adam Vaughan. My wife, Kelly, will also be sharing. We have 6 children. Our two sons, Lincoln and Tucker, have gone to be with the Lord. The remaining four with us are Emmiline, Eloise, Elliott and Charli. Charli is a triplet. Her brothers Lincoln and Tucker are identical twins. They're dancing with Jesus right now, and they're not sad about it at all!

brown baggin'

As the Hopefuls continue to purge and pack.
We are quick to celebrate the innumerable provisions...
Papa has blessed with over the years...
The tangible and intangible.

This weekend...
The smalls and I spent some time in LTC garden.
Getting it ready for the new Hope dwellers.
So much growth had taken place it was like we needed a map...
To find the buried treasures.
A divine jungle of sorts...
We stood amazed...
As the growth...
Had outgrown us.
During a season when the soil was most depleted...
We behold...
In wonder...
Our best crop ever.

Seems fitting that our final season here...
Would be our very best.

When our hands have had little to offer...
He has been busily growing in our lack.
And, not just meager fruits...
But, bouquets...
Of...
Radient abundance.
All I know to say is... "yea, God..."
And...
Thank you!

Your gifts...
So numerous in our lives...
In the attempt to recount...
We would need stakes...
To hold the weight of them all.
Ahh... the weight of blessings instead of burdens...
I love it!

One of the things that touched my heart the most...
Among the wild favor...
Were...
Forgotten fruits.
Seeds sewn...
Ones we had forgotten we even planted.
There they were...
Hiding...
Resting...
Letting more obvious things peek out.
And...  resonating with my soul the most...
The never before sewn...
Seeds...
Planted deep.
Ones that I thought died to never bloom...
All of a sudden...
Right on time...
Sprang forth in royal glory...
Bringing joy to us all.

Yes!
He has adorned us with many petals of  His good pleasure...
Our beauty ever growing because of who He is in us.
Thankful today for plantings...
And, non-sensical growth.
He is in charge of all...
We receive with grateful hearts.
Singing delicious songs...
Of thanks, awe, and wonder...
As the gloves come off...
That we might share and partake in the feasting.

Brown Baggin' it today...
Compliments of The King.
