About Us

Not too much to say (at least not yet)... no long list of credentials... just a story that's worth sharing. I'm Adam Vaughan. My wife, Kelly, will also be sharing. We have 6 children. Our two sons, Lincoln and Tucker, have gone to be with the Lord. The remaining four with us are Emmiline, Eloise, Elliott and Charli. Charli is a triplet. Her brothers Lincoln and Tucker are identical twins. They're dancing with Jesus right now, and they're not sad about it at all!

wait...

Oh...
The call of...
Wait.
A hard and high calling.
One I will forever be familiar with.

Through personal growing pains...
I see Papa's pattern in the course of History...
Bestowing the call of "wait" on His people...
Bringing a higher level of greatness...
Than what the instant offers.

Some days...
The instant sounds SO NICE...
But...
As opportunity for perseverance presents itself...

Character is incubated...
The invaluable is birthed...
Hope.
And Hope NEVER disappoints.

Slowly we are learning...
To stay the course...
To embrace the calling...
To mimic the "greats."
To walk the path of wait.

Man...
I do not like the process...
I do however...
Treasure the results.

So as we walk...
We press in...
Fighting all the more to remember the truths...
That have been marked in the wood.
And the transformation...
That changed me...
From Israelite slave-wanderer...
To...
Daughter.
My messy hands...
Now better able...
To share the scribbles of truth...
That have become part of our legacy...
With other brothers and sisters...
Who have also been asked...
To walk the path of wait.

Through tears...
We continue to look..
Seek...
And feel for the heat of His flames.
Sometimes a consuming fire...
Others a holy bush.
Both blazing...
Reminders...
To the hungry hearts...
Of The Papa's hand.
He is always writing our stories...
Even when I feel like a chapter will never end...
And the happily ever... will never arrive...
His hand is still perfectly penning...
Preparing His great reveal...
The conclusion...
His RIGHT ON TIME faithfulness!

For He ALWAYS has the LAST WORD...
ALWAYS!
And it's a daughter's "get to."
To WAIT upon The Daddy.

Still learning.
