Are the ones that stand out MOST in our hearts.

Like sharing a warm beverage...

On a cold morning...

Saying cheers with someone you dearly love...

Who "sees" you...
And dearly loves you in return.

The single act of sharing togetherness...

Makes every sip all the more sweet...
Nourishing something deep in our souls.

Sometimes...
Most times...
It's just the ordinary...
Small things in life...
That make the largest deposits in our love banks.

As I encounter such moments...
I see the kindness of Our King.
Always busy on our behalf...
Creating opportunity for connection.
Providing another way...
For us to feel His heart.

It's right to praise Him in the midst of the ordinary...
For soon enough...
That ordinary will slip through our fingers...
And our hearts will burn for just another glimpse of "remember when."

Oh... that we would be a people that celebrate ALL blessings...
Large and small...
That joy would be our weapon...
Keeping our eyes FOREVER fixed on what HE is doing.
For He is always up to good on our behalf...
Especially in the ordinary.
