The current state of the economy...
Or the in's and out's of the everyday...
I am reminded...
I am not a beggar...
Waiting for scraps under the table...
He invites me to feast from a different perspective...
From The tree...
As children we wait in expectation...
For our seats to be finished.
Experiencing joys in the now...
Wrapping our arms around His love gifts...
It keeps our hearts alive.
Remaining unhindered by...
Circumstances...
Heartaches...
Tragedies...
Or the unforeseen.
When elements rage...
And completion is delayed...
It can feel hard to hang on to promise...
Again...
I am reminded of my sure-footing...
Revealing confirmation to me...
To our smalls...
I have no strength of my own.
Fully on The tree...
And in reliance...
I accept the invitation...
To refuse fear...
To honor... no matter the cost...
To rejoice in the days The Lord has made...
And dine at the Table of Remembrance...
Right next to The Father.
For He is ALWAYS working things for our good.
The proof is engraved deep in the wood and nail-scarred hands.
"When Christ becomes our focus, contentment replaces our anxiety."
-Charles R. Swindoll
Would our eyes be fixed...
Each and everyday.
