time out

It should comes as no surprise...

Even in the midst of great celebration...

We often find ourselves...

In need...

Of a little time out.

When we get in trouble...

Due to the busyness of blessing...

Allowing too much activity to get us way out of whack...

We need some time and space...

To get alone... 

Get realigned.

Many times...

Another hand must lead us...

Out of the bustle.

And... into the alone.

Why do we resist it so???

Turning our eyes away...

Pretending we don't see our need...

Like it is some kind of game.

One we don't have time for.

Even when our mouths are full from the table of delights...

It's good to leave the offerings...

Seek Him...

Allowing Him space to meet us in the isolation.

Remembering He is better than His gifts.

Aware that you are never too old...

Or too young...

To desperately need a time out.

NEVER!

At this point I think I need several days in solitary confinement.

Learning more about grace.

One time out at a time.
